The Remote Well-being Monitoring service, Anyware Care™, is a unique data-driven decision-making tool for professional care providers to support senior citizens’ independent living and improve the quality of living, while providing better and targeted care.
The solution is NOT about replacing processes or human interaction – on the contrary: It is all about using the readily available data insights to make informed decisions about each older adult‘s care need – especially about not so obvious problems. It could be insights into how much the senior citizen is moving around, how often he/she is getting up during the night, whether the older adult has returned to bet, and so forth.
The solution is based on advanced algorithmic anomaly detection that sends recommendations and care alerts if abnormal behavior (an ‘anomaly’) is detected in the (care) home. If everything is ok, no alerts are sent.
In addition to ethical and digified well-being monitoring of older adults, the Anyware Care™ solution clearly serves the purpose of creating peace of mind and enabling informal caregivers to contribute to the caregiving in a controlled and transparent manner, thereby fostering an ethical, trust-based and collaborative caregiving for the older adult.
The Anyware App™ enables the professional caregiver to set individual care alerts for each care receiver, and monitor all care homes in the Anyware Dashboard™.
It is also possible to create a unique invitation link to the informal caregiver, thereby enabling him or her to act on less critical care notifcations and recommendations. This feature obviously reflects a monetization opportunity for ‘for-profit’ professional caregivers to potentially upsell first responder services inbetween scheduled visits.
The older adult and/or the caregiver is always in control about when to monitor and what type of anomaly alerts to be sent.
Anyware collects ONLY ethical, non-obtrusive ambient sensor data via the Anyware Sense™ device, which intends to avoid age-stigmatization of the monitored older adult and respect the data privacy.
